Demolition is planned to begin after the 2026 NFL season, making way for a mixed-use development project on the 66-acre site. The new stadium is expected to open in February 2027.

Method: The stadium will be mechanically disassembled rather than imploded, using cranes and machines over an eight-month period.

Recycling: The demolition project aims to recycle 95% of the building materials.

Site Redevelopment: The 66-acre site will be redeveloped into a park, affordable housing, a boulevard, and other revenue-generating developments.
