
Andrew Turk
Senior Project Manager, Cameco
Andrew Turk is a professional electrical engineer who has worked on remote mining and industrial projects, and has progressed from design engineering roles to leadership positions. He currently serves as a Senior Project Manager at Canadian nuclear fuel provider Cameco, where he is responsible for the Vision in Motion project at Cameco’s Port Hope Conversion Facility.
A large multi-year program comprising multiple projects across the entirety of Cameco’s Port Hope facility, Andrew has overseen the program for the past seven to eight years – including the demolition of the former UF6 plant (Building 27), which was recognised at the 2024 World Demolition Awards.
The Vision in Motion project aims to address legacy waste inherited from historic operations while aiming to improve the overall look and efficiency of the facility.
